Foresters, Madrigals, and Handbells to perform at the Senior Star today

Ava Manelis, Editor-in-Chief

The Forester Singers, Madrigal Singers and Varsity Handbells will be singing at the senior star today starting around 12:15 p.m.

This 33 year old tradition is one that helps bring in the Holiday Season to all LFHS students and staff. Classes are free to come on down and enjoy the music that will be displayed.

They will be singing selections from their Fall and Holiday Concerts, as well as Madrigal and Varsity Handbell holiday music.

Senior Lillie Michael is a member of Madrigals, this being her first year apart of the program.

She said that she is “more than excited to perform at the senior star” today.

“I have been waiting for this day for a very long time and it’s one of my favorite parts of choir. It’s such a fun way to start off break and to let students around the school hear our music,” Michael said.

The three music groups are excited about tomorrow’s performance, and also about their upcoming musical tour of Austria, Germany and Prague this spring break.

Stop on down to the senior star to ring in the holidays with these three talented music groups!
