Uh…football destroyed Appalachian State 52-14 with our worst team in recent memory (2014, the oft-forgotten quite literal dumpster fire that Harbaugh brought us out of – Yes, the team that even lost to Rutgers). It shouldn’t be a surprise that the Athletic Director that thought that rematch was remotely a good idea is no longer welcome in Ann Arbor.
As far as this loss you speak of, I recollect no such thing. I’ve heard some vague legends called “The Horror” or something, but that’s just mythology, right?
