Homecoming dress trend predictions for this year
September 11, 2019
With the homecoming dance approaching us in just 10 days, girls at LFHS are scavenging for the perfect dress. It may be hard to decide on what dress to pick- especially what color or what style- so here are a few ideas of dress trends that you can use and that will probably pop up this homecoming!
The first trend that we are expecting to see this homecoming is baby doll dresses. These dresses are usually short with puffed sleeves and loose-fitting skirts. They’re very simple, but can be dressed up with a fun pair of shoes or some accessories. If you don’t have a dress yet, try out this cute dress trend!

Another trend we are looking forward to seeing this homecoming is bright colors. Dresses from all colors of the rainbow will be littering the dance floor this homecoming, which will be so fun to see. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and make a statement with your dress color this year!
(ASOS, Revolve)
A third trend that will be around this homecoming is asymmetric dresses. Whether it be an asymmetric neckline like a one-shoulder dress, or a cut out in your dress, this style is both unique and trendy. This style adds a new flair to a simple dress and will be sure to draw an eye this homecoming.

The final trend that we are expecting to see this homecoming is, of course, floral dresses. With spring approaching us soon, stores have been popping up with all different colors and styles of floral dresses. This is a cute and unique pattern for your dress and will be perfect for this homecoming dance.

Whether you’re trying out one of these trends at homecoming or not, we hope you enjoyed looking at some of the predicted upcoming dress trends for this homecoming dance 🙂

Hi, Ava. It’s your Papa. I just read your article on “Homecoming dress trend predictions.” You’re a very good writer. It was well framed, composed, and written.
Your mom sent us your picture of you as the Varsity Club Captain. WOW! You really are one pretty gal, Ava.
Anyways, I hope your having a great senior year. This should be your absolute best, insofar as fun and accomplishments.
Have you focused in on what college you would like to attend? Nana and I are interested to learn where it is you want to end up.
Regards to your Mom, Dad, and the ParkMan. Love you, Ava. Papa.
