Alyvia Rohrs

Senior Alyvia Rohrs perfectly exemplifies what it means to be helpful. A day does not go by where she doesn’t go out of her way to make others feel happy. She is constantly giving back, not thinking about herself, and above all, she does it with a smile on her face.

“Alyvia is such an amazing person and friend,” said senior Hailey Swisher. “Somehow it seems like she never has bad days because she’s always such a positive and happy person to be around, and her positivity radiates onto others.”

Alyvia has been a teacher’s assistant in LFHS’s Integrated Wellness program for both her junior and senior years. And as of this year, she convinced her counselor to let her become a teachers assistant in the ELS (Educational Life Skills) classroom as well, which no other student is allowed to do. Not only does Alyvia spend two periods a day working with the students in the Special Education class, but she is also a member of “Scout buddies” outside of school as well.

“Alyvia is always able to get everyone in class engaged, and it’s so cool to see how passionate she is about helping and forming relationships with each student in the class,” senior Bea Ward said.

In fact, a few weeks ago, Alyvia won a service and leadership award for her devotion and participation in Scout Buddies. This award was well deserved because Alyvia basically embodies the spirit and character that a Buddy should have.

Other than being so involved in the Special Education department, Alyvia is also known for being a quality friend. She is honest, loving, kind, and has the most positive outlook on life.

“Alivia’s never afraid to give her honest opinion,” said senior Emma Kent.” If I ever need advice, I can count on her to be super honest. Not a lot of people I know can do that, so I really admire her.”

Alyvia has the ability to instantly form a connection with any person she meets, and just about everyone loves her. You would never hear any person say a bad thing about her inside or out of LFHS. If you haven’t gotten the pleasure of knowing Alyvia yet, it is highly recommended to meet her, you will not regret it.
