Up and coming Business Incubator group ‘Heaven N Heels’

Four junior group members join forces to create a unique new product

LFHS’ Business Incubator class has been the starting point for many new businesses and products, one of those being the “Heaven N’ Heels” group, who is currently working on creating a one-of-a-kind pair of heels.

Heaven n Heels’ newest pair of shoes will allow you to dress up in a nice pair of heels, but when the discomfort of wearing the heels hits you, you can take off the heel and slip on a comfortable flat.

The group consists of Juniors Konrad Ziaja, Julia Hender, Lino Caputo, and Ella Witmer. The four have been working hard all year to create their product, with more information on their Instagram, Facebook, and website.

“They are a modular pair of shoes that are both functional and fashionable for versatile women who find discomfort in heels or want to switch shoes on the go,” junior group member Julia Hender said.

Hender said that she has experienced wanting to dress up in high heels for events like weddings and school dances. However, once it’s time to hit the dance floor, she said that “all I can think about is how badly I want to slip my heels off!”

The new Heaven n Heels shoe would work to prevent the issue of having to take off your shoes at these types of events, as you can simply pull off the high heel, and slip on the flat. Like Hender said, “all of a sudden you’ve gone from fashionable to comfortable!”

The group has created a prototype, as seen to the left, which gives an idea of what the shoe would look like as a heel, and then as a flat when that heel is detached.

As group member Lino Caputo said, “Our shoe is the future.”
