Talent Show Auditions Set for Jan. 28th, 29th
January 19, 2019
Auditions for the this year’s Talent Show are set to take place on Jan. 28th & 29th, and submissions prior to in-person auditions are due the 25th (bit.ly/TS-2019). The variety of options to select on the form (including magic acts and comedy sketches) allows for students of any and all talents to come out and put their skills to the test in four minutes or less.
This years MCs, George Schoettle, Elijah Fietsam, and Andrew Rempala, are looking forward to seeing the best and brightest of LFHS in just a few weeks.
“I know I speak for everyone on the talent show committee when I say we are extremely excited for auditions,” said Schoettle. “This talent show is going to be something special!”
However, the MCs aren’t the only ones who have spent the last couple weeks preparing for the talent show. Media Director Nick Wnuk has spent the last month promoting talent show auditions through social media videos involving the aforementioned MCs.
“We are trying to make it an event for the students, by the students again,” said Wnuk.
Wnuk’s message is evident by the involvement of seniors Ryan Eleveld, who will be reprising his role as Head Technical Director, Zeyad Alam and Keenan Jajeh, who look to serve as Director and Producer, respectively.
“We’ve got a ton of people ready to get to work,” said Wnuk. “It should be a great year.”
