When and why did you start playing basketball?
I started playing basketball when I was about 3. My dad definitely played a big role in me starting to play basketball. The TV was always on Michigan State and the Bulls so it became second-nature to be around basketball.
What is the most difficult part about the sport?
Staying focused throughout the entire game is probably the most difficult part about basketball. The sport is played at such a fast pace that sometimes you just forget to slow down.
What is the most memorable moment you have experienced on the basketball team?
The Michael Pasquella tip-in versus Libertyville was super exciting. It was awesome to be a part of such a great game. Also, a Jack Bender scream during a JV game is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
What is one goal you have for your senior year season?
I want to win conference and that is something that we all want and have discussed. But overall, winning a regional championship in our home gym.
What are your pregame musts’?
I need to listen to some country music to pump me up and then nail down a handshake with Crawford Bolton.
Who is your biggest idol and why?
Derrick Rose because of the way he has rebounded and persevered throughout his entire career. He was so high up and then had a major fall. Now he is on his way up.
If you could be any animal what would you be and why?
A bird because you could go to any sport event you would want.
What is your favorite meal and why?
Steak with a nice side house salad. It is the perfect combination of protein and your daily veggies.
If your house was on fire, what three things would you take? (Family and pets are safe)
My phone, a NuGo bar, and my blankie.
What is your biggest pet peeve and why?
Asking question during movies for sure.
If you could spend a day with one cartoon character who would it be and why?
Caillou because I would love to tell him how much I loved watching him as a kid.
What mythical creature do you wish actually existed and why?
Dragons. They can spit fire.
Bratwursts or hotdogs?
Hotdogs with ketchup no bun.
