After six weeks of college football, there has already been plenty of chaos. Clemson has shown signs of weakness by barely skating past two unranked opponents, Ohio State escaped Happy Valley with a one point win in the intimidating White-out Game, and Texas took down the seventh ranked Sooners. While this chaos has been going on, Alabama and Georgia have been doing what they are expected to do, which is dominate. While there are many talented teams that feel they deserve a playoff spot at the end of the season, only four will make it.

4. Texas

Texas is back. After several years of patience from Longhorns fans, they are once again ranked in the Top Ten. The Longhorns already have one win against a Top Ten opponent, and they face sixth ranked West Virginia Nov. 3. Texas is looking stronger than ever with star quarterback Sam Ehlinger who threw for over 300 yards in the win against the Sooners.

3. Georgia

Georgia has had a relatively easy schedule so far this year, playing just one ranked team, South Carolina (24). However the Bulldogs shown dominance, stomping over every team in their way. Georgia faces 13th ranked LSU, the 14th Florida Gators, 18th ranked Kentucky, and 21st ranked Auburn in their next four games. The Bulldogs will definitely be tested in these next four hard-fought games playing four straight ranked opponents.

2. Ohio State

The Buckeyes have already had a tough schedule, knocking off 15th ranked TCU on the road and 9th ranked Penn State at Happy Valley. The Buckeyes have already shown a great deal of toughness, fighting through adversity in the intimidating White-out against Penn State. Star quarterback, Dwayne Haskins, is nobody to look over when discussing Heisman Trophy candidates. Their next big test is Michigan, the final game of the season. Until then, the Bucks hope to sail by and head into the Big Ten Championship undefeated.

1. Alabama

Nobody is surprised to see Alabama absolutely dominating once again. While some say the Crimson Tide have an easy schedule, Alabama has done all they can do, which is win. After the first six weeks, the Tide have had just one game when they did not score 50 points; however, they still managed to score 45 against 22nd ranked Texas A&M. The Tide hopes to keep rolling and make yet another playoff appearance.
