The Lake Forest girls Lacrosse team has been on a hot streak through the duration of the final stretch of their season. The current 8-8 Scouts took a loss last night against a 13-3 New Trier Girls Lacrosse team, 16-4, effectively ending their two-game win streak they had coming into the game. With Kara Antonucci back on the field, the Scouts feel as if they have all the pieces of the puzzle in place to make a run through the state playoffs. With two games left in the season, the Scouts plan on finishing off strong and winning on senior night tonight against the Warren Blue Devils, and again on May 15 against the Evanston Wildkits.
With the Scouts’ confidence at its epoch, the ability to start a little streak rolling into the playoffs have the Scouts and their faithful hoping for a strong chance of making something happen and paving a path down state.
