As we launch into the spring sports season, parents are given the opportunity to support the 62% of students involved in athletics at Lake Forest High School. The fifth annual Booster Bash will be held this Saturday, March 10, from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the Gorton Community Center. The Bash’s mission is to promote and support athletic success, spirit, and sportsmanship in every sport and for every student-athlete at Lake Forest High School.
The LFHS Boosters have made countless opportunities available to every student athlete at Lake Forest. Some of their key initiatives are the following: fund grants for individual and team camps and competitions, help fund athletic competition equipment, support spirit initiatives through LFHS Scout Nation, manage the Scouts Spirit Store, facilitate the team parent program, run concessions at over 120 athletic events, provide scholarships for students.
Tickets are remaining, but they are limited. Tickets are $85 a person and they include a hearty tasting stations and open bar, silent and live auctions, and entertainment from comedian Tim Walkoe, who was voted as ABC’s “America’s funniest people.” Be sure to support the Lake Forest athletes and the Booster Club by attending this year’s Booster Bash event.
