Amelia Myers
Murderous widow would likely not be the words one would use to describe senior Amelia Myers. They would, however, be an accurate description of her character, Mrs. White, in the upcoming production of Clue. Portraying such an extreme character would prove difficult for many, but good thing Myers is not one to back down from a challenge.
Myers’ success on the stage is not just due to her hard work, but also by her natural abilities.
“She is one of the most talented people I know,” sophomore Taylor Ross, a close friend of Myers, said.
But her dedication extends beyond just theatre. As Choir Board President, on top of balancing her academics, “she’s got a full schedule,” Ross said. However, Myers still finds the time to brighten the lives of those around her.
During long, tiring rehearsals, Myers is known for livening up the energy.
“She has a way of making everything fun,” frequent castmate and friend, junior John Turelli said.
Off stage, Myers is an equally devoted friend and dangerously funny. “Amelia is the friend that I can talk about anything with,” senior Tess Clark said. “She has me dying of laughter on a daily basis.”
From her stand-out performances to her wit to her enviable fashion sense, one thing is for sure, “Amelia does it all,” senior Ellie Ford said.
