Mia D’Alessandro

Sophomore Mia D’Alessandro has a unique “talent” that impresses just about everyone who knows. 

“She can and will fall asleep anywhere,”  said sophomore Bentley Frost. 

Sophomore Elsa Dalgren claims Mia, who she calls the funniest person she knows, even fell asleep during a Varsity Dance practice once.

Neither Frost nor Dalgren blame her, however.“I would be tired all the time if I worked hard as she did,” Frost said.

Besides Dance and sleep, Mia is dedicated to a challenging load of classes this year. Plus, she’s always making time for family and friends. 

“Mia is one of the most dedicated and hardworking girls I know whether it be for dance or school. I consider her my best friend and always have since the moment she welcomed me into the Lake Forest community,” said sophomore Savvy Smothers. 

Senior Tess Ivinjack says Mia is the “last one to pack up after practice,” and not because she fell asleep in the corner.

 “Everyone that knows Mia knows her as someone who gives 100% in everything she does, whether that’s dancing, school, or her friends. She always is the last one to pack up out of practice because she wants to use every second she can to keep  getting better,” said Ivinjack. 

Her friends are grateful to have a friend like her in their lives. “Mias is one on the kindest souls who always puts others first. She is the type of girl who would walk over mountains for you! I’m so thankful to call her my best friend!” said sophomore Sarina Vora.
