Madison Miks

While students who are back in the building are excited to see friends again, it can be hard to see only your half of the alphabet. However, junior Madison Miks never fails to brighten the mood, even if she’s six feet away.

“I’ve known Madison since middle school, and she’s a wonderful person and an amazing friend,” said junior Margherita Zaramella. “She’s crazy smart and helps me all the time. She does so much, and is such a well-rounded person.”

Miks is a talent athlete, competing in both Varsity cheer and gymnastics. She is extremely involved on both teams, and has formed tight bonds with her teammates.

“Having Madison on my team is like having a sister. She’s the reason I get genuinely excited to go to practice,” McKenna Burn said. “She motivates me to try new skills, and even if I fail, she helps me get back up and try again.”

Miks has only recently started cheering, but she has been a gymnast since a young age. She has racked up a long list of personal achievements and impressive scores.

“Madison is the most honest and caring person I’ve ever met. She really puts 100% into everything she does,” said junior Sophie Lawson.

Miks  is also a strong student and eager to help those around her.

“Great friends are hard to come by, but I without a doubt have found one in Madison,” Lawson said.
