Jad Halabi

Friends of senior Jad Halabi say they love his selfless, wholesome, and kind personality. His level of fidelity is not something that goes unnoticed.

“Jad is the most understanding person I know, and he is amazing. He will always listen and try to help in whatever way he can,” senior Coco Stevenson said. Senior Will Yuen says that Jad is the “most considerate person; he’s able to put himself in other people’s shoes well and understands people better than most.”

Halabi’s passion for playing soccer and running track has brought him both impressive stats and friendships. He competed at Sectionals in the Triple Jump in 2019 and started his junior season with a PR of 38’10”.

Yuen says Jad is “dedicated and balances all his sports with his academics and can excel in both fields.”

That attitude on the track is evident in the classroom, too.

“Jad always comes into class with a smile and a friendly hello… even on test days when everyone else looks miserable,” Mr. Covey said. “Jad is the rare type of student that every single other person in class likes and wants to work with.”

Although he has strengths in academics and athletics, Halabi isn’t great at everything.

“One of the worst parkers I’ve ever seen can’t park a car to save his life. ANY type of car,” sophomore Olivia Adams said.
