Grant Salanty

Senior Grant Salanty AKA G Money is a goalie for the Lake Forest High School Hockey team and a member of the State champion Varsity Boys golf team. 

His teammates had especially positive things to say about his skills in the net.

“Grant is a nightmare for other teams on the ice and links,’’ said hockey and golf teammate Charlie Haggerty.

“Grant is a brick wall, nothing gets past him,’’ Connor Kuchman said.

When asked to describe Grant in one word many similar responses popped up, like ‘’handsome’’ and ‘’the best.” Neither surprising, of course.

When asked what type of friend he was, all responded in a positive manner. Some referred to him as “caring’’ and “thoughtful,” while others said he was the best guy to have in the room at any time.

The truth about Grant is that there is really nothing to dislike about him. No matter whom you ask, you will hear only good things about him.

In his free time he spends it hanging out with his friends and playing casual golf at the Onwentsia course. You will be likely to find him this winter at the Winter Club or West Park stopping every puck that comes close to him.
