Scott Seaman
There are lot of one sport athletes here. Some even divide their time between two teams. But it takes a truly special athlete to participate in a sport during all three seasons. Junior Scott Seaman is one of those people.
You will likely spot Scott wearing a Scouts golf polo, a basketball, or volleyball sweatshirt around the halls of LFHS… or in this case this year, during online class. Seaman is one of the hardest working participants on all three teams and clearly translates to the field.
“Whether Scott is playing basketball, golf or any other sport that involves a ball, he is going to give it his all,” said Varsity Boys Golf Coach Jim Matheson. “He will never stop working until he achieves that ultimate goal and proves that he is the best.”
Along with being a hard worker with athletics, Seaman also challenges himself in the classroom as well. Seaman has a very rigorous course load this year, including three AP classes.
“Scott always knows what to do whenever we are stuck on a problem,” said senior classmate Mac Uihlein. “He is always contributing when the group is having a discussion and helps me when I am having trouble in class.”
To go along with his rigorous schedule, Scott also finds time to have a full social life as well. Scott has multiple groups of friends. Whether it be his numerous team members or those he went to grade school with, Scott always has people he can hang out with during his free time.
“He’s just a good guy to be around,” said junior golf teammate Michael Cassidy. “He is always really funny and constantly brings good energy whenever I am around him.”
