Grace Thomas
Sophomore Grace Thomas is the fourth and final Thomas kid to go through Lake Forest High School. If you know their family, it might be because you’re always looking up at them, all towering above 5’10”.
“Grace is one of the absolute sweetest people I know. She is so genuine and I love spending time with her. She is positive, comforting, compassionate, and talented. There is nothing bad that could ever be said about her,” says sophomore Ciara Carroll.
Thomas took a big step into this school year by joining the cross country team despite limited experience with the sport. She added a pop of positive energy to the group and made drastic improvements throughout the season.
Grace brings her bright personality to Choir, Bel Cantos, and the Environmental Club, too.
“She is so well-rounded not only in school but also in extracurriculars. Grace is the perfect friend in every situation and I go to her daily for advice. Grace makes my day better every day, and I’m so happy to call her a friend,” said sophomore Janel Sharman.
She is also involved in SHYG, the youth group of Christ Church Lake Forest, which is also known as “the big, white church” on the corner of 60 and Waukegan. Despite having a parental figure lead the group, it doesn’t stop her from forming another family outside of her own.
“Grace is such a great friend and one of the nicest people I know. She is someone that I trust and I can talk to her when I really need to talk to someone. She’s also really funny and has such a positive attitude that can make someone’s day so much better,” said junior Ricky Marchant.
