Clayton Trevino

Freshman Clayton Trevino made it clear very early that he will not be intimidated by all the new faces and competition of high school. Posting some of the lowest scores at tryouts, he made an immediate impact on the Boys JV Golf team. 

Clayton led the JV team to a Conference win, scoring the best of the team and receiving medalist honors at the tournament.

“[He] has a super hard work ethic. He golfs every single day, and he gets better every time he plays, along with helping others to get better,” freshman teammate Harry Ford said.

When not honing his golf skills, Trevino enjoys playing basketball and is also an active participant in e-sports. He has set up a streaming profile for himself, stealing wins in games such as Fortnite just like he does on the golf course.

There are very few happier kids you’ll meet; Clayton always has an ear-to-ear grin on his face, and his positive spirit is contagious. Much like his putts, Trevino’s jokes very rarely miss, always spreading joy to everyone around him.

“He’s not only a ton of fun on the course but he’s one of the chillest people and is nice to everyone,” Ford said.
