Elvan Muratoglu

Known for her ambition to experience the world and meet new people, senior Elvan Muratoglu has no trouble speaking to anyone and everyone. It’s this desire that allows her to make new friends so fast. 

“Elvan and I have only been friends for a few months now, but I already feel like we’ve been friends forever. She’s always looking to try new things and can always brighten up a room!” said senior Olivia McCall. 

Whether it be a Sunday venture to Ikea for a potted plant or a late night hangout, Elvan is always willing to find something fun to do. 

“Elvan‘s is down to do anything. She’s someone who you can text at any time of the day to hang out or do something and she’ll always say yes,” said senior Cami Diedrich. 

It’s Elvan’s need to connect to the rest of the world that makes her special. Even now, while in quarantine, Elvan still finds a way to connect with others and promote unity. She is the co-founder of the @lfhs2020 Instagram account that shares where all seniors are going to college and what they are majoring in. Since missing Senior Decision day, this is a great page to come to help uplift your spirit and celebrate everyone’s accomplishments. 

But Elvan doesn’t just celebrate others accomplishments, she contributes to their success by finding ways to help out everyone. 

“Elv is always there for her friends; she makes such an effort to reach out to everyone around her,” said senior Keaton Wilhelm. “She’s one of those friends that will always be there for you no matter what,  and I know I can always count on her. She’s always there ready to Facetime anyone to offer help with school work. She’s a built in tutor too,” added senior Mimi Yale.
