Lucas Redding

Formally known as his artist name GameBoy Redd, senior Lucas Redding has been pursuing his passion of music throughout his high school career,

Redding tries to get involved in anything to do with music at the school. He is in Choir and has performed in the talent show . He also likes to fit music into his school day as much as he can. He takes music composition class where he learns new instruments and how to improve his music writing. Guitar making is also one of his favorite classes. Currently, he is making a four stringed bass to use for his music production.

If there is anyone who knows the in’s and outs of Redding, it’s his long time friend Lillie Micheal.

“Lucas is not just a friend, he is family,” she said,

She says she has watched as he has grown into a “dedicated, passionate, and empathetic young man.”

Micheal also put emphasis on how Redding has inspired some of his peers. He has showed her that “you can achieve anything you put your mind to.”

“He is always so fun to be around,” senior Trevor Schneider said, “but most importantly, he is a good friend to many.”
