Alex Miller
If you have class with Junior Alex Miller, you’ve likely heard him die laughing in the back of the classroom. He’s hilarious. But under his humorous persona, he holds a friendly heart that one can only be so fortunate as to get to know.
A member of the varsity football team, Miller has been able to touch the lives of both people in his grade and seniors alike. Senior Matthew Garrigan is one of these seniors lucky enough to play with him last year.
“Miller was always one of the most positive guys on the team and was definitely one of my favorite guys to be around in the locker room,” he said. “Terrible dancer. Really funny to watch.”
Junior Matt Nicholson can also speak to Alex’s vivacious personality, as he has been his companion and also his teammate on football last year.
“Miller is the hardest worker I know and a great friend. Straight from the heart,” Nicholson said.
Although it’s evident he works diligently to be kind to others and at his sport in practice, it’s the lives outside the team that make it ever so apparent how great of a person is. Junior Brody Hender is one of Miller’s long time friends who has been by his side for all of these high school years.
“Miller is an awesome friend. I know he’ll always be there for me and I definitely cherish him as a friend,” he said.
Junior Carmel Hickey is another pal of Miller’s who calls his friend “the full package.”
“Miller is one of a kind, and is easily one of the most genuine people I know. He’s smart, funny, caring, and so much more,” she said.
