Max Edison

If you’ve ever been to a Lake Forest basketball game, you’ve probably seen junior Max Edison handing out water bottles and cheering on the sidelines. Max is one of the student managers for the Varsity Basketball Team, and he epitomizes what it means to be a hard working Scout.

This hard work, as well as his enthusiasm hasn’t gone unnoticed. Fellow manager Sammy Long highlights the hard work Edison puts into helping the team be successful.

“Max is one of the hardest working people I know. Every day at basketball, he is always thinking 10 steps ahead on what has to get done,” Long said.

Like any good team manager, Edison puts the team before himself. He will do anything to help the team win.

Senior teammate Andrew Levin noted how much he cares for the players and the success of the team.

“He’s always there for us. He brings a lot of energy and passion to the team. He’s always there to pick someone up,” Levin said.

He is not only a hard worker on the sidelines but also has some of the best humor on the team.

“Max brings energy and positivity wherever he goes. He is a great friend and a great team manager,” junior teammate Gage Messner said.
