Ella Witmer
It’s easy to settle for complacency your senior year of high school, following the ‘senioritis’ trend and just enjoying the last year in your comfort zone.
Senior Ella Witmer, however, follows her own path.
Ella is a humble, hard worker, who puts every ounce of dedication into her schoolwork as well as her love for fashion. Being one of the few who make it through to the tough business accelerator course her senior year shows exactly how her hard work and persistence have paid off.
Witmer has put her heart and soul into sketching, designing, and creating prototype shoes for her business Heaven and Heels.
Colleague and friend Julia Hender attests to the hard work that propels the group in the right direction.
“Ella is amazing to be in a group with. She always offers to do things that need to be done instead of waiting to be told, which is an awesome trait in a teammate,” Hender said. “She’s super talented and has a great eye for fashion. Most importantly, I’ve loved growing closer with Ella over the past two years.”
Aside from her work ethic, many know Ella as a kind person and outstanding friend. Good friend and cross country teammate senior Katie Bondoc shared how lighthearted Witmer really is.
“Ella and I became close this year because we both decided to do cross country together,” Bondoc said. “She made the long runs and practices a lot more fun because we would just be laughing most of the time. She’s so easy to talk to and is a really good friend to have.”
