Rachel Brown

It’s hard to manage being on a sports team here at LFHS all while taking a heavy course load of classes, managing a social life, and of course, being a good person to all.

Freshman Rachel Brown takes on these tasks as- you heard it- only a freshman. And she takes the characteristic of being a good person to a new level, as, according to friends and family alike, she is one of the sweetest people to grace the halls of LFHS.

Brown is a member of the Junior Varsity Dance Team , and works hard in the studio every day after school and even on the weekends.

She always keeps a smile on her face, despite the grueling practices, and is very mature, according to teammate and captain junior Haley Zarek.

“I am very lucky to have Rachel as a teammate and a little sister,” said Zarek. “Not only is Rachel a talented dancer, but she’s also extremely smart and mature- especially for an underclassman.”

Another teammate of hers, freshman Bentley Frost, is one of Rachel Brown’s closest confidants and can attest to the wonderful personality that she possesses. Frost joined the dance team the same year as Brown, and they are good friends.

“Rachel is one of the most genuine, kind-hearted people I’ve met since entering LFHS, and she never fails to put a smile on my face even when you’ve had a bad day,” she said. “She may appear as a quiet, reserved person, but once you get to know her she is one of the funniest, most energetic people know.”

Clearly, Brown is someone whose heart is so big and who just cares about every aspect of her life.

Next time you need a smile, or just want a nice friend to talk to, Rachel Brown seems like the perfect friend 🙂
