You hear her before you see her, but LFHS students wouldn’t prefer it any other way.

Elisa Allen is a fervent spectator at every soccer, basketball, and football game, shouting words of encouragement and leading cheers.

“She is a super fan at all of her children’s sporting events – she leads cheers; she shouts out to other team members;she brings food to events,” said Allan’s friend Julia Miller.

Allan is the mother of Ainsley (senior), Watson (freshman), and Campbell (7th grade). But, she’s not just the mom of these three, she is described as a “surrogate mom” to so many other students, senior Sophie Michael said.

“You can talk to her about anything, and she’s not going to judge you. There have been times where I have gone over [to Allan’s house] just to hang out with her,” said Michael.

Allan also works two jobs as a saleswoman, and she “does a lot that goes unnoticed,” according to Ainsley.

“She does a lot of amazing things that I think everybody who is affected by them definitely cares about, and they are always so thankful for her. She really goes above and beyond to help people,” said Ainsley.

Allan has also positively affected Ainsley’s friends, notably senior Grace Tirzmalis.

“She always puts others before herself. She treats everyone like family, even if you have just met her you already feel so welcomed and loved by her,” said Tirzmalis.

Michael described Allan as “the most amazing person ever,” as well as “loving and caring.”

This Mothers Day, the Forest Scout is proud to display mothers that have impacted this community. Elisa Allan is an “amazing mother and a supportive friend,” according to Miller.

“She has boundless energy and thinks of others before herself. I can’t imagine someone deserving this more than her,” Miller said.

Happy Mothers Day Elisa Allen!
