George Munns

If you have never had a conversation with Senior George Munns, you are truly missing out. One of Lake Forest High School’s most interesting students, Munns knows how to make anyone’s day a little more amusing.

“He’s a really funny guy,” said senior Henry Feingold. “We mess with each other, but I can always count on Munns to make me laugh.”

Aside from his hilarious personality, Munns is a hard worker in and out of school. A four-year veteran of the Lake Forest football program, Munns spent hours on end working with his teammates to perfect his craft. Although he is not one of the Scout’s household names, Munns’ hard work on and off the field benefitted not only himself but his teammates as well, which made him an important piece to the Scout’s success this past season.

Always full of something new and interesting to say, kids can count on leaving their conversation with George with not only a smile on their face but a little bit of knowledge in their noggin as well.

“He’s just such an interesting dude,” said senior Will Freeman. “We’ll talk for hours and hours about the most random stuff and somehow he knows about all of it.”

With Munns’ gift of knowledge on the most random of topics, he is able to draw upon any number of tidbits poking around in his brain when the time arises for a need of them.

“Munns has some of the best street smarts of anyone I know,” said senior Nolan Petzer. “With all that he’s got going on in his head, I know he’s going to use it to go far in life.”
