Ellie Pierce
Sophomore Ellie Pierce is a kind-hearted, compassionate girl who often seeks to put others before herself.
During the summer, she loves working with Beacon Place, which offers less privileged kids a chance to receive help on homework and play games with the volunteers.. Ellie also loves going to Feed my Starving Children with her tennis team, and helping people in general.
“She is always there for you no matter what, and is always making people laugh,” said friend Julia Turinsky.
Ellie attended School of St. Mary’s for middle school and graduated in 2017. She was able to transition easily from a grade of 50 kids to a grade of 350 kids. Joining the tennis team helped with the adjustment.
Outside of tennis, Ellie enjoys photography, golf, and spending time with her family and friends. Her love for photos is shown through her Instagram accounts, and she is often offering to take pictures of others.
Ellie is also very dedicated to her school work. In fact, she was on high honor roll recently. Ellie’s hard work is inspiring to her classmates, peers, and her family members.
Above all, Ellie loves spending time with her friends and, of course, her family.
“ I am lucky enough to refer to her as my family member, but even luckier that I can call her my best friend,” her sister freshman Bea Pierce said.
