Eleanor Colligan

Senior Eleanor Colligan is a wild card.

She keeps everyone on their toes, and most of the time exceeds preconceived expectations. She is known for her unique fashion style, as well as her quirky, bold – yet kind – personality.

If you take one look at Colligan’s social media, you can tell that she is a person who is not afraid to experiment with fashion and other artistic things. Whether it’s modeling for her friend’s photography account or being a canvas to try various styles of makeup on, Colligan is there for it all.

“Whether it be her beautiful poetry, or one of a kind fashion sense, she truly has no fear when it comes to expressing herself,” said senior Brynne Martin. “She is one fearless gal.”

Her fashion also speaks loud words. But what you can often catch Colligan wearing is “funky pants,” fuzzy socks, with a sweatshirt all partnered with an iced mocha from the coffee shop.

Not only is her fashion notable, but her musical talents deserve credit as well. Colligan has been a part of Orchestra since middle school. After many years, she is now a co-viola representative for her section in the LFHS Symphony Orchestra, as well as a part of the pit and electric orchestra as a violinist and a violist.

Senior Anna Aquino said that Colligan is “the culmination of positivity, childlike amusement, and stifiling confidence.”

Aside from her extensive musical abilities and distinct sense of style, underneath lies a just as memorable personality. She has such a carefree personality and because of this, never ceases to make everyone around her laugh.

“Eleanor is so fun to be around. She is always making me and my friends laugh and does not care what anyone thinks about her,” said senior Juliette Prindle.

Soon Colligan will become a Wildcat, taking her quirky style and intelligence down to Northwestern University, where she will study biomedical engineering.

“Her unmistakable energy brings people so much joy that you end up wondering why you even needed cheering up in the first place,” Aquino said. “I love this girl so much and she deserves the world.”
