Mac Uihlein

If you’re looking for sophomore Mac Uihlein, try starting at Chick-fil-a, Tsukasa, Egg Harbor, Lukes, or Meatheads.

“Every time I go out to eat with him we eat about the same, and I have 50 pounds on him,”  junior Charlie Aberle said.

In fact, he once ate a whole Tsukasa lunch and then went to Chick-fil-a immediately following for two sandwiches.

Luckily, Uihlein’s personality is as big as his appetite.

He is one of the most charismatic, friendly and entertaining people you will ever meet.

Senior Ryan Cekay said it best: “He basically hits every great characteristic that can be in a high schooler.”

He wants to try everything, whether it’s a new position on the field or meeting someone for the first time and talking to them as if he’s known them their whole life.

He was on varsity football this year, which meant being around upperclassmen. That might be awkward for some sophomores but not Uihlein.

Honestly you could come up with a million ways to compliment Uihlein.  “He’s just a really solid friend who genuinely cares, extremely hardworking, and is very selfless,” Charlie Aberle said.

Along with having a huge personality, he is also a tremendous athlete. He started at middle linebacker as a sophomore on the varsity level.

Cekay had two words to describe how Uihlein plays on the field: “complete animal.”

That fierce attitude paid off: He received an offer from University of Wisconsin to play football.

“He is an extremely humble person that I admire a whole lot,” senior Luca Pasinato said.

What it boils down to is Mac Uihlein is what most parents want their child to be like: successful in school and extra curriculars, while showing a dynamite personality.
