What are you speaking about and why did you choose this subject?

“I am speaking mostly about changing thought patterns and how that has to do with bias. I chose this topic because lately I have been finding it very interesting to try to change my mindset about different things in different ways. I wanted to apply this idea to how the world is viewed and what we can consciously do to view the world in a more fair way.”

When did you first realize this was the subject that interested you?

“I think that I’ve always been interested in this subject, but something specific that enforces this is the fact that we live in a time where the media skyrockets really fast, so that actually makes being impartial more important because it is easy to get misinformed and for issues to get heated.”

What motivated you to do a TED Talk?

“I saw the opportunity to do a TED Talk and I thought that it could be something very fun so I just convinced myself to take the risk.”

What do you want people to learn or appreciate about your TED Talk?

“I hope that people who listen to my TED talk start believing and hoping that they can look at the world in a more unbiased way and just know they can change how they look at things in general.”

How did you prepare for the TED Talk?

“To prepare for the TED talk we had to write a script and memorize it.”

How nervous are you to speak in front of so many people?

“Honestly, I am pretty nervous to speak in front of people, but I think it is a good way to practice public speaking.”
