Nastia Belova

Nastia Belova, the only freshman on the Girls Varsity Tennis squad, is an outgoing teammate who everyone enjoys being around.

“Nastia is the type of person where you first meet her but it feels like you’ve been friends for years,” said senior captain Louise Brickman.

She has had no problem creating close friendships on the tennis team, despite being the youngest. She is serious during practices, but can also make teammates laugh.

“Nastia is an incredibly hard worker on and off the court and on a personal note I have absolutely loved getting to know her,” said teammate Autumn Rabjohns. “She’s amazing and we are all so happy that she’s on the team.”

Not only has Belova shown herself to be an incredibly hard worker on the court, she also is a very passionate dancer. After two hour tennis practices, she heads over to the LFDA for dance practice for an additional two to three hours. She is often not home until close to 9 p.m.

Besides Belova’s dedication to dance and tennis, she takes her academics seriously too. She has a very advanced course load for her first year at LFHS.

“I wish I knew how Nastia finds time to do tennis, dance, and be a genius,” said Brickman.
