Travis Calaway

Travis Calaway

The always busy freshman Travis Calaway loves to stay active.

Calaway has lived in Lake Forest his whole life. Before high school, he was an avid soccer player and on the Lake Forest Junior Scout football team. Calaway played cornerback, kicker, and kick returner on the freshman football team this season.

He proves to be a valuable community member by volunteering at Bernies Book Bank, North Chicago Community Partners, and Feed My Starving Children.

Calaway is always up for an adventure.

“We randomly call Travis and ask him if he wants to go get food or drive to the beach; really just do whatever,” Clare Crawford said. Calaway’s presence is always in demand. He’s up for anything and always brings positive energy to hangouts. “

Despite having a busy schedule, Calaway works hard to maintain his grades. Impressively, taking Plane and Solid Geometry Honors and Mandarin 3 Honors as a freshman.

“He’s a really nice guy. He always asks how you are doing and is very generous. Travis is also is super fun to hang out with because he never causes any drama or issues,” Tyler Klein said.
