Jane Riley

It’s no secret that teenagers aren’t always the biggest fans of school. However, students are a bit more excited to attend when they know that Jane Riley will be there.

“Jane lights up a room the second she walks in,” said junior Talia Prozument. “She genuinely cares about all of her friends.” 

This is no easy feat, considering Riley seems to know almost everyone at LFHS. 

“She says hi to every person she passes in the hall. Everyone knows who Jane Riley is. She’s introduced me to a lot of new people I probably never would have met otherwise,” junior Kayla Wisneski said. 

Riley is a regular at school events, and always has Scout spirit. She never misses a Scout Buddies meeting, and she is always willing to kick off a dance party. 

“Jane is one of my closest friends! She is always there to make me laugh. We’ve had so many fun times blasting music and singing in the car, going out to eat, and just hanging out!” said senior Sydney Rubenstein, one of Scout Buddies Leaders, and  long time friend of Riley’s. “I am so thankful to have Jane as a friend,” 

Since Riley has been back in the building, she has continued to spread positivity to all. 

“Jane Riley is happier to be in school than anyone I know,” said Coach Spagnoli, Riley’s Intergrated Wellness teacher. “All you have to do is say hello to her and you instantly feel great! She has that kind of impact on you.”

Positive energy seems to follow Riley wherever she is. Whether it’s at a football game, club meeting, or just simply in the halls, no one can ever ignore her friendly spirit.
