Senior Flynn Bradley, a three-year member of the Varsity Boys Golf, has accepted an invite to the Junior Chicago Cup, a tournament composed of the top 32 golfers in the Chicago area. The tournament will take place in June of this upcoming summer.

His success comes as no surprise to teammate Charlie Valentincic. “Being one of Flynn’s close friends I’ve seen him improve so much over the years,” he said. “He is always so consistent.”

Aside from golf, Flynn loves to hangout with his friends and play pond hockey. Almost everyday after school the “Slush” go out to either the Lake Bluff rink or the West Park rink and play.

“He probably could have played hockey too; he’s that good,” said Slush member and senior Connor Armstrong. “He’s just a great athlete. He could have played anything he wanted to.”

Flynn has made the best of a bad situation during Covid.

“Even with everything that has been taken away from us he still keeps his optimist attitude and spreads it,” said senior Cole Royer. “When I’ve gotten down about things he helps keep me in good spirits.”
