Whether it’s participating in track, music, or ravine cleanups, junior Will Meyer is a truly remarkable individual who doesn’t hesitate to give any problem his all.

“Whether Meyer is on the track, on stage, or just hanging out with friends, he always manages to brighten everyone’s day with his one-liners,” said junior Alexander Panos.

Meyer is heavily involved in the music department as a bass singer for the Foresters Choir, a flutist for the Wind Ensemble, and has competed in the LFHS Honors Competition as a vocalist.

According to Jemian, Meyer’s passion for music and enthusiasm is what truly sets him apart from the rest, not just as a musician but as a person.

“He’s just an all around standup guy, and that radiates through everything,” said Pierce Docherty, a fellow Foresters singer. “In choir, Meyer is beyond talented and it really shines through.”

Meyer’s impressive achievements don’t stop with music, as he actively participates on the Boy’s Cross Country team, as well as the local environmentalist group, We Act Now, a group that helps to keep the community clean and spread awareness about climate change.

“Will is the kind of person that you look forward to seeing every day,” said senior Margaret Jemian. “His radiant and engaging personality energizes any room he enters, naturally making him one of the most optimistic people you will ever meet.”
