Katie+Hubbard

Katie Hubbard

As the final days of high school come to an end for seniors, it is difficult to believe that senior Katie Hubbard has yet to be on The Forest Scout’s Friday Five.

Katie has a genuine love for the people around her. Her positive presence and carefree look on the world immediately lights up any room she enters.

“Katie is easily one of my favorite people of all time,” senior Kersten Larson explained. “Katie is the kind of person you know you could always go to, and she would be there for you no questions asked. She is such a welcoming, selfless, and fun person.”

Katie has been part of many clubs and sports here. Having been a member of the field hockey, cross country, and lacrosse teams, Katie has impacted more people that anyone can count. She challenges herself to try new things and isn’t afraid to take chances to do so.

Although Katie is heavily involved in the school, she also embraces programs outside of LFHS. Being part of her church’s youth group, she has become friends with so many people in the community simply by being herself.

“Katie and I go to our church’s work trip together, and I wouldn’t want anyone else by my side for all of it,” Larson said. “I’m definitely going to miss my Sundays with Katie next year.”

Katie’s love for life and the people around her has spread to many people in the LFHS community. She lives for each day with spirit and kindness and makes sure her friends do the same.

“She is that happiest kid and the sweetest friend,” senior Caroline Kissel said. “I can count on her to always make me laugh but always be there to support me when ever I need.”

Katie will definitely leave her mark at LFHS as she moves into her future.

“She is just a little ray of sunshine,” Mrs. Konz said.
