Andrew Forowycz

A positive student who serves as a role model to younger and older students, Andrew Forowycz embodies all  the qualities of a Scout. Andrew is most known for his talent on the soccer field, but his support for the school doesn’t end there, he is also the manager for the boys Varsity Volleyball team.

“Without Andrew’s support and involvement for this year’s team, it wouldn’t be the same. I don’t think we’d be as successful as we were, and it definitely wouldn’t have been as fun,” said senior Spencer Capps.

When not participating with the soccer or volleyball programs, he is a loyal fan who can be seen at many of the school’s sporting events. He is full of Scout spirit.  

Senior Justin McCartney said, “Having Andrew manage this season had an extremely significant impact on our team. He understands what it takes to compete at, and above, the varsity level of play. Alongside developing his volleyball knowledge, Andrew became a good friend to us all. He got excited in our teams brightest moments, and stuck by our side through our darkest.”

Not only is Andrew involved in many of the school’s athletic programs, he is a hardworking student whose work has earned him a spot in the class of 2023 for Marquette University. He is interested in majoring in marketing at Marquette.

Beyond his excellence in school, he is outgoing, and always looking to make someone laugh. Many say that’s his best trait; his humor radiates throughout the room to get everyone in a good mood.

For other students, he is one of those “really nice guys” who are hard to come around. He is approachable and will be helpful and positive in whatever the activity is. He’ll talk your head off about soccer and the NBA, especially as one of the stars in the NBA Insiders podcast. He is just simply fun to be around.

Andrew will take the skills and qualities that he developed in LFHS and will go on to excel in college and his personality will continue to positively impact and uplift others.
