Snow Day Causes Long Term Schedule Change

Snow+Day+Causes+Long+Term+Schedule+Change

Thursday night and into Friday morning, Winter Storm Mateo dropped nearly eight inches of snow on the Lake Forest area. As a result, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night, Lake Forest High School notified students, parents, and staff that school would be closed on Friday, February 8th.

While students and staff appreciated the unexpected day off, the decision does have implications on the calendar down the road. Since the school was closed last Friday, there will now be a full day of attendance for students and staff on Monday, March 5th, which was previously scheduled to be a day off. Per usual, you can check the school’s website at lfhs.org to check on the updated calendars and events for Lake Forest High School.
