Robbins earns share of Big East regular season title as manager

Robbins+earns+share+of+Big+East+regular+season+title+as+manager

Xavier University freshman Avery Robbins, formerly the Lake Forest High School boys basketball manager, is enjoying quite the run of success in his first year in Cincinnati. Robbins, one of more than a dozen student managers, helps out the (26-4) Musketeers, currently ranked 3rd in the country, with everything from in-game assistance to practice aid.

Pictured above with senior Sean O’Mara, the former standout center at Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois, and the Big East regular season championship trophy, Xavier is expected to make a deep run in the NCAA tournament later on this month.

Look for Robbins under the basket or behind the bench as the Xavier Musketeers look to complete a run all the way to the 2018 NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four in San Antonio, Texas.
