GLENVIEW, Ill.– After battling in the first half with a strong Glenbrook South team and taking a one goal lead into the second half, the Scouts girls lacrosse team let the second half get away from them, ultimately resulting in a 13-5 loss for the Scouts on the road in Glenview.
The Titans, who now sit at (2-5) at facing some highly competitive national competition to start the year, used an 11-2 second half scoring difference to propel them to an eight-goal win over the Scouts. The Scouts, who now sit at (3-3) overall on the year, have been hurt by numerous injuries to their roster, but are using these early season tests as a source for improvement. As talented as the Scouts roster is, it will take time for them to reach their full potential as a unit considering multiple players have already missed time this season.
Coach Catanzaro’s squad returns to action today when they travel to Lincolnshire to take on the Stevenson Patriots.
