Homecoming week is officially coming up and the best way to get excited for it is to show some school spirit!
Each day of the week of 9/19, there will be a different theme for students to explore along with the pep rally on Monday. The themes for this year’s Homecoming Week are Jersey Day on Monday; Preppy Day on Tuesday; Decades Day on Wednesday, Thursday is class day: freshmen wear flannels, sophomores wear groutfits, juniors wear USA themed outfits, seniors wear togas; and lastly, Friday is “All Out Scout.”
The more participation, the more fun, so dress your best! In the previous three years the school spirit has risen dramatically with lots of dress up for the week of Homecoming and the other spirit weeks. All this spirit and excitement gets students excited for the event that lies at the end of the week, this week being the Homecoming Dance on Saturday. The spirit also brings the school together as it gets the entire school to put their creativity into the same idea.
A week of dressing up is something that doesn’t happen often, so students should take advantage of this. No one is too cool for school.
