Togas, 80’s outfits, and Blackhawks jerseys are going to fill Lake Forest High School’s hallways as homecoming quickly approaches. Here are a few reminders for the upcoming festivities as we jump into Spirit Week.

Homecoming shirts will be on sale for $10 during lunch periods on Wednesday and Thursday and before school on Friday. Some of the proceeds from the t-shirts will be sent with the Red Cross Club’s efforts to help support those in Houston affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The pep rally will be on Friday, September 15th in the Competition Gym and will begin at 2:20.

The 3rd annual BBQ will be held before the Varsity game. Food and beverages will be provided and the first 150 people will receive a Lake Forest rally towel.

Homecoming dance ticket sales will be online September 5th – September 14th. Ticket sales end September 14th at 12pm.

The dance is Saturday, September 16th in the Lake Forest High School gymnasium from 7-10pm.

MONDAY: Roll out of bed this Monday and come in your favorite PJ’s for pajama day.

TUESDAY: class distinction day

• Freshmen: Tie Dye
• Sophomores: Camouflage
• Juniors: USA
• Seniors: Togas
• Teachers: College t-shirts

WEDNESDAY: Time to dig deep in your parents’ closet for the perfect scrunchie and leg warmers because it’s decades day!

THURSDAY: Support your favorite team by wearing their gear to school on jersey day.

FRIDAY: Scout Out!! Let’s make a sea of blue and gold for the pep rally!
