Girls track has strong showing in first outdoor meet of the season

Girls+track+has+strong+showing+in+first+outdoor+meet+of+the+season

MUNDELEIN, Ill.–In less than ideal conditions, the girls varsity track team finally got a chance to get their outdoor season started on Wednesday night in Mundelein. Some of the event highlights included Leonardi (16.55/100H), Obrzut (29.0/200M), Ahghini (14’4″/ LJ, 31’7″/TJ), Milburn (2:27/800M) and the 4×100 relay (Leonardi, Bazell, Obrzut, Curry/time 52.2), who each took first place in their varsity events against both Libertyville and Mundelein.

The final varsity scores were Libertyville 73, Lake Forest 71, and Mundelein 46.
