Spring Signing Day is upon us and that means another crop of athletes at Lake Forest High School will be committing themselves to colleges for the next four years to continue not only their respective athletic careers, but also their academic careers.
Quinn Dailey – New York University, Wrestling (Division III)
Dailey, a varsity wrestler for the Scouts, will be continuing his academic and athletic career at NYU and will be pursuing a future career involving film, which was a big draw for the wrestler to attend one of the east coast’s premiere universities.
Joseph Pasquesi – Cornell College, Wrestling (Division III)
Pasquesi, another varsity wrestler and longtime teammate of Dailey, will be wrestling at Cornell College in Iowa while he works towards his degree in higher education.
Jon’nah Williams – University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Softball (Division III)
Williams, the only softball player to sign this year, will be attending UW-Whitewater to continue her athletic and academic career. Whitewater is a powerhouse for Division III athletics and Williams will likely fit right in at the university, located just north of the southern Wisconsin border.
Su Yardimci – University of California-Berkeley, Sailing (Division III)
Yardimci adds to the list of interesting athletic careers from the previous signing day as the only sailor this year to sign with a school. Yardimci will be sailing all over the country for the Bears while working towards her degree at UC-Berkeley.
Congratulations to all the athletes signing today and good luck to them in their future endeavors.
