In Jenna Grossman’s weekly column, College Corner, she profiles at least three individuals who have made their college decision and are enthusiastic and confident in tackling the next four years of their education.Â
Student: Reese Karras
College/University: Elon University
Location: Elon, North Carolina
Why they decided to go: “I chose Elon because it has the perfect balance of everything I would have wanted from a big school, but at a smaller school. For example, I’m able to get involved in Greek life, go to sports games (D1), and cultivate better relationships with my professors because of the smaller student to teacher ratio. What I also love about Elon is that they emphasize “experiential learning” in their curriculum which is a more hands on approach of learning by doing which is perfect for me! The school is absolutely beautiful and I don’t think I’ll ever complain about the North Carolina weather.” – Reese Karras
