On this, the final Friday before Lake Forest High School lets out for Winter Break, you might be graced with some beautiful band music in between algorithms and annotations.
A small group of LFHS band students will be circulating the high school today, playing pre-purchased Band-O-Grams for students and teachers in an effort to promote spirit and holiday cheer. “It’s a great way for us to show our talents and spread excitement around the school,” noted junior Drum Major Katie Pierce. “It also helps build camaraderie in our own group as well.”
From the football games to the basketball games to the hallways and classrooms of the school, the LFHS band, directed by Mrs. Kessler, is a staple at LFHS. Pay them the attention that the deserve today as they bestow the sounds of brass and percussion on your classroom.
